We offer the best scuba diving and snorkeling in the Florida Keys and Key Largo in Pennekamp Park. Uncrowded boats - carrying a maximum of 12 scuba divers, unlike others that carry 30, 40 or even 50 passengers. We dive throughout the Key Largo National Marine Sanctuary and John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park. Our swift charter boats will take you to uncrowded parts of the park, where visibility and coral growth are superior.
We pride ourselves in personal service as we take you to these beautiful sites on board our two custom dive boats. Our personal attention to your adventures extends to our ability to arrange special dive sites on request - or ask our experienced crew to bring you to where conditions are best that day! Our friendly crew and relaxed atmosphere will assure you of the best dives possible!

Dive Instruction

Instruction at Silent World Dive Center is available through PADI & SDI for recreational diving and GUE & TDI for advanced and technical training. We also accept Universal Referrals from all agencies. For the non-certified who wish to try diving, we offer one-day Discover Diving courses. We'll arrange check-out dives to complete your courses, or full certification - from the basic entry level course to Open Water Diver, Nitrox, Advanced Open Water, Rescue and Divemaster! We offer one to one personal instruction wherever possible at no additional charge. Our focus is on quality, not quantity so you can be confident you are getting the best possible instruction and person attention.
It's always a good idea to arrange a guided dive with one of our professionals if your skills are a little rusty (perhaps you haven't been diving for over a year?) You might also consider one of our guides if you just wish to have a private guided tour of the reef!

Silent World offers multi-day
dive packages, with or without rental equipment. Our aim is
to take you to a wide variety of sites during your stay.
Our recommendation for good value accommodation is the The Pelican; a small and economical bayfront motel. Recently renovated, the Pelican offers "Keysey style," a small private beach, outdoor barbecue, continental breakfast, and superb sunsets on the bay!
If you would prefer a larger room with more facilities, The Suites at Key Largo has townhouse style apartments at very good prices, starting at $99+tax per night when booked through Silent World. (Expect to pay more during high season and holiday week-ends.) All rooms have a private balcony overlooking one of the marinas here in Key Largo. They have a queen size bedroom and bathroom upstairs, and separate queen size sleeper sofa downstairs; plus lounge area, 2nd bathroom, and full kitchen. The facility has a small pool with sundeck, and is within close walking distance of the local restaurants.
Another excellent option is the Bayside Resort. Standard rooms, bay view rooms for a few dollars more, or waterfront suites; prices start at $99+tax per night during week days and low season. The resort has a heated pool, and offers continental breakfast, plus two on site restaurants.
If you like luxury and beautiful surroundings,
consider the Key Largo Grande. With one of the largest private
beaches on the island, fitness center, sauna, whirlpool, tennis
courts, 2 outdoor heated pools, and nature trails, there are plenty
of places to relax and enjoy your vacation between dives! Rooms
are spacious, comfortable, and tastefully decorated.
