MC Systems

Halcyon's Multifunction Compensator is a complete "doing it right" kit for every diving application. The MC's modular design allows you to modify your set-up to fit your dive. A complete MC includes a buoyancy wing, backplate & harness, MC storage pack, weighting & lighting system and safety / signalling devices appropriate for the local dive conditions

 

 

Eclipse MC System

Available with 30lb or 40lb wings

Choose from Stainless Steel or Aluminum backplates

Bladder outer shell constructed in 1080 Denier ballistic nylon

Exploration grade ruggedness

We recommend an aluminum backplate and 30lb wing for warm water diving in a 3mm or less exposure suit. Light canister or weighting sytem may also be required to achieve a balanced rig

Consider stainless steel backplates (6lb) and weighting systems for 5mm and above exposure suits, drysuits or for individuals requiring more weight.

Evolve Double Tank Buoyancy Compensators

Available with 60lb or 40lb lift capacity

The Evolve's circular design allows for precise control of in-water buoyancy and trim. Horizontal trim is easily accomplished through the addition of lift at the base of the cylinders. Gas trapping on one side or the other of the wing is virtually eliminated.

We like the ease of venting air with this wing - also seems to have less sloshing around than the traditional wing shape

Explorer Double Tank Buoyancy Compensators

Available with 55lb or 40lb lift capacity

Explorer wings have been slightly modified over the years for even greater streamlining and efficiency. The Explorer wing is slightly narrower and longer, with a reduced buoyancy tube behind the neck to minimize heads-up trim

 ATX 100 2nd Stage

Apeks are the regulator of choice for technical and cave divers around the world due to their design, reliability and performance. Available from us in either yoke or DIN, these diaphragm regulators do not require water to enter the 1st stage in order to set intermediate pressure unlike pistion designs. This eliminates internal salt water corrosion and degredation of performance over time.
