CONTINUING YOUR DIVING EDUCATION....

ADVANCED OPEN WATER

Our PADI Advanced Diver Course consists of five dives, which include two core dives: Deep and Navigation. The three remaining elective dives could be Night, Underwater Naturalist, Photography, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Search and Recovery, Boat or Wreck, among others. The advanced course can be completed in three trips, over two or three days; you choose whichever suits your schedule, as our aim is personal iinstruction rather than the production line style of teaching adopted by some dive centers. The PADI Advanced Open Water Program provides the novice diver with a structured, well-supervised means to gain additional experience, and includes various underwater tasks that broaden awareness of the environment and develop diver capabilities. This course will not make you an expert diver, but gives you a taste of what more specialized diving activities have to offer. There is no final exam with this course, just the completion of knowledge reviews in your own time. Mostly you will enjoy some fun and varied diving with some learning thrown in!

We can send materials out ahead of your course start date to give you some time to read and complete knowledge reviews prior to your arrival in Key Largo.

-Dive the Spiegel Grove!
-Float and move effortlessly through the water
-Manage reels, lines and lift bags!

PADI Course Fee:
$350 per person (equipment rental is extra if needed)

REFRESHER COURSE

Haven't been diving in a while or since you certified? Would you like to run through those pool skills again?

Our refresher course consists of a full pool skills refresher circuit in the morning, and 2 open water dives in our fabulous marine sanctuary in the afternoon. Use your own equipment if it is new or recently serviced, or our own: we include full gear rental at no additional cost. If it has been a year or more since you last went diving, a guided dive may be all that is required; but if it has been 2 or more years since you last dove, we would require you to take the full refresher course.

PADI course fee: $175 (includes equipment for the day if required)

We provide Guided Dives for several reasons. One is that the guide, one of our instructors, knows the dives sites like his or her back yard and is able to find things that may be missed by a diver that has not been to the site before. Another is that hiring a guide guarantees a competent buddy for the lone diver that otherwise would be buddied up with some other diver on the boat. A guide would also help the novice diver gain some confidence on his or her first ocean dives. A diver that has not been in the water in a while would also benefit from hiring a guide.

Guide Fee: $50 for one person, $75 for two or three people, $100 for 4 or more.
